Barça Set to Play First Match at Upgraded Camp Nou over the weekend
The club confirmed they will play at the partially upgraded Camp Nou on Saturday. They will welcome the Bilbao team in domestic competition two and a half years since relocating to allow renovations to start.
“We’ve dreamed about the return. Now, it’s here. We’re back home. Back at Spotify Camp Nou.”
The stadium will not be at full capacity with 45,401 fans are permitted inside as per the current authorization. Once fully finished, the Camp Nou is due to hold almost 105,000 spectators, increasing from the former 99,000. The club said completed upgrades featured an updated entryway for the team along with upgraded changing facilities.
